Police Public is a 1990 Indian Hindi-language crime thriller film, directed by Esmayeel Shroff. The film stars Raaj Kumar, Raj Kiran, Poonam Dhillon, Naseeruddin Shah, Kabir Bedi and Prem Chopra in lead roles. This is a remake of a Malayalam movie Oru CBI Diary Kurippu, which released in 1988.

Plot
The film revolves around the mysterious death of Karuna, a young woman who was married to Arun, the son of a wealthy businessman Sharma. Karuna's father Ram Swarup, a retired schoolteacher, and her sister Usha suspect foul play and demand a CBI investigation. However, Sharma and his friend Tiwari, an aspiring politician, try to cover up the case with the help of a corrupt police officer Maha Singh. The honest cop Shahnawaz Khan, who was initially investigating the case, is transferred and replaced by Maha Singh. Ram Swarup and Usha appeal to the high judicial powers and CBI officer Jagmohan Azad is sent to solve the case. Jagmohan uncovers the truth behind Karuna's death and exposes the culprits.
